Mark Redmond

Mark Redmond, Superintendent of Malheur Education Service District, recently joined Valley Family Health Care’s Board of Directors in 2023. Mark believes it is important to be active in the local community. He is an active participant in the Parma, Idaho, and Vale, Oregon communities serving on the Parma Booster Board, Western Treasure Valley Rotary, Oregon Small Schools Board, and in ESD leadership.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Boise State University, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northwest Nazarene University, and an Education Specialist degree from Lewis and Clark College.

His work in the Education field extends over 25 years as a teacher and Superintendent. He taught Science at both the high school and middle school in Vale for 14 years. He brings expertise in building relationships with local educational entities and establishing programs for the benefit of kids in the community.

During his free time, Mark enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two teenage boys. He enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and being active as much as possible.
